wood holmes has been appointed to offer independent advice and information to Gateshead Housing Company’s tenants and leaseholders, before they are asked their views about how council housing services are managed in Gateshead in the future.

Services such as carrying out repairs, improving homes and collecting rent are currently managed by The Gateshead Housing Company. Gateshead Council is reviewing the management of these services, to ensure they can be kept at a high level, whilst making sure they also remain good value for money.

Later this year, more than 21,000 tenants and leaseholders will be asked for their views about who manages those services in the future. As part of this process wood holmes will be on hand to provide tenants and leaseholders with more information in a number of ways, including:

• At a series of roadshows and drop-in sessions
• Online, by e-mail and using Twitter and Facebook
• Speaking to the independent advisor.

Tenants and leaseholders in Gateshead who want independent advice about the review of housing services should contact us on 0800 023 4705 or e-mail
